Good music

Bought two CDs on a whim last night: Dar Williams (“Beauty of the Rain”) and Kirsty MacColl (“Tropical Brainstorm”). Lovely, lovely stuff. Check out the lyrics to Kirsty’s “England 2, Columbia 0.” Funny even without the music. (If you’re reading them, it should be noted that she was English, and the “0″ is pronounced “nil.”)
