Memo to publishers: please cease and desist the practice of dropping authors on their heads. You can’t dislodge the books that way, and no one wants to clean up the resulting mess.

On to AEA. May I possess the energy to stay upright, keep at least one eye open at all times, and look reasonably attentive. If any actual knowledge leaks into my ears, so much the better.
